Pastor Andrea is a woman that loves the Lord. She is the founder and leader of Shield of Faith Church of God in Whitby. She is married to brother Garey Simms and has three children and one grand child. She works full time as  a Registered Nurse  at a hospital in the GTA and part time  as a Clinical Teacher in the Nursing Program at Humber College.  She is currently enrolled in the Master of Divinity Program at Canada Christian College.  

Andrea  spent early part of her teen age years in  in Montego Bay Jamaica. She is  the youngest of 14 siblings. As a teenager, Andrea moved to Toronto, Ontario, and always had the foundation of a Christian home to  guide her way. She accepted Jesus into her heart at the age of 28  and has consistently served the Lord ever since.   

Andrea’s experience in ministry began with fundraising, evangelism,  children church director, Sunday School Superintendent, events planning, youth, and children’s ministry Pastor to Lead Pastor. 

Her goal is to see  all her family and friends become a part of the Kingdom of God, while continuing to reach and touch the lives of everyone she crossed paths with.
